The Quetzalcoatl Waddle

One of the first "dance crazes" in history emerged in the 1500s from the Aztec city of Quetzalcoatl. Check out this song I wrote about it! QuetzalcoatlWaddle.mp3.

Maggie

This is Maggie, our cat (for now; she's going back to her owners in a few weeks). She likes to meow incessantly for no reason. Here's an mp3 of a little conversation we just had! :-)

Limerick

There one was a lady named Kurth,
With a rapidly increasing girth.
Her husband thought that,
She was just getting fat,
When one day, suddenly, she gave birth!

New Baby Pictures!

Yesterday we had another sonogram. We're at 20 weeks now, so we're about halfway through the pregnancy! The food item closest to the baby's size right now is a mango.

Here's a side view -- head's on the left, tummy's on the right, and you can see an arm and a leg bone. For some reason, the baby is in a fetal position.

Our baby has feet! I count six toes on one foot and 4 on the other, which is the right total number! But I'm not very good at reading the sonogram.

If I put our names here, maybe googling for them will someday lead people to this page, so here they are: Derek Kurth, Karianne Kurth (formerly Karianne Leikam, aka Kari Leikam), and Kaeta Kurth.
