Sept. 17, 2005 Baby Shower

Baby blankets are just incredibly soft.
This is a cross stitch that hung in my room when I was a baby. It was made by a friend of my great-grandmother, and Mom had it reframed to pass on to us. It reads: "Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow, for babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow... so quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep... I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep!!"
Sue and Laurie gave us this "Sleep Sheep" -- it plays sounds similar to what a baby hears in the womb, like the sound of a heart beating. Very cool!
Here we are with Mom and most of the hostesses (Hey, that sounds like a band...)
